The Best LGBTQ+ Friendly All-Inclusive Resorts for a Relaxing Getaway

This is me attempting to become a resort traveler—okay, maybe just learning to openly consider it as an option. As a traveler at heart, my vacations (when I’m not traveling for work) usually have me bolting around places like Vietnam, hopping buses, shuttles, and boats, trying to soak up as much as I possibly can. Admittedly, this style of travel leaves little room for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Life can be hectic for all of us for so many different reasons. This year, I am making a conscious effort to take better care of myself, and that includes allowing myself to rest, without guilt. Spending time on the beach at an LGBTQ+ friendly all-inclusive resort lets me lean into that rest in all the ways I need to.

Unfortunately, its still illegal to be gay in 64 countries, so for LGBTQ+ couples. To help you find the perfect stay for you and your partner, we’ve rounded up some of the best LGBTQ+ friendly all-inclusive resorts around the world. While Mexico and the Caribbean dominate this list, I’ve also included a handful of properties in unexpected locations to inspire your next getaway.
