We are thrilled to share that EveryQueer’s founder and CEO, Meg Ten Eyck, has been named Chairman of the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association (IGLTA) Board of Directors ahead of the 2025 Global Convention in Palm Springs, California. Her appointment represents a powerful shift for the organization and a meaningful moment for the global LGBTQ+ travel community.
Meg first joined IGLTA in 2014 and has steadily built her leadership within the organization. After years of dedicated involvement, she was elected to the Board of Directors, later served as Vice Chair, and now steps into the role of Chairman. With her deep knowledge of the industry and commitment to advancing LGBTQ+ inclusion, Meg is poised to guide IGLTA into its next chapter of growth and impact.
As Chairman, Meg will focus on expanding global access to safe and welcoming travel experiences, uplifting underrepresented voices in travel—including lesbians, queer women, and transgender communities—building stronger partnerships with tourism organizations, and ensuring LGBTQ+ rights and advocacy remain central to IGLTA’s work.
From all of us at EveryQueer: Meg, we are so proud of your effort, dedication, and thoughtfulness. You’ve transformed the way LGBTQ+ people experience travel, and this recognition is so well deserved. We are honored to have been a part of this journey with you—congratulations!
